TXADE is a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering older adults and people with disabilities through clear education, compassionate support, and hands-on guidance with complex state and federal benefit programs. We help Texans navigate Adult Medicaid Long‑Term Care, Medicare, Medicare Savings Programs, and LIS/Extra Help with dignity and confidence.

TXADE exists to provide clear, trustworthy, and community-centered education on aging, disability, and state and federal benefit programs.

TXADE serves older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, and the community partners who support them.

TXADE envisions a Texas where every older adult, every person with a disability, and every caregiver has the knowledge, support, and confidence to navigate aging and public benefit systems with dignity.

TXADE delivers accessible, community‑based workshops that help older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers understand their options with confidence. Sessions cover topics like navigating Medicare benefits, accessing local resources, and planning for long‑term stability. Every workshop is designed to reduce confusion, empower informed decisions, and strengthen community support networks.

This program provides one‑on‑one guidance to help individuals connect with the services they need — from healthcare benefits to community programs.
As part of this work, TXADE hosts a monthly Community Benefits Help Day in Arlington — a free, in‑person service day where older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers can receive hands‑on assistance with Adult Medicaid Long‑Term Care, Medicare, Medicare Savings Programs, and LIS/Extra Help.

TXADE collaborates with senior centers, healthcare providers, and local organizations to expand access to trustworthy information. Through presentations, resource fairs, and partner trainings, we help communities build stronger, more informed support systems. This program strengthens relationships and ensures education reaches the people who need it most.
